Apps that people actually use
Building an app that works is the easy part. Building one that people download, use regularly and rely on is harder. It takes understanding your users, getting the experience right, and making sure the technology doesn't get in the way.
We've been building apps for over a decade. Consumer apps, internal tools, companion apps for larger platforms. Every one is built to feel right on the device, perform reliably and pass App Store review without surprises.
4 million devices, 12 years.
We built and maintained the GAME app for over 12 years. At its peak it was running on 4 million devices across the UK. We handled every version, every platform update, every App Store submission for over a decade.
That kind of longevity doesn't happen by accident. It takes code that's maintainable, architecture that adapts, and a team that understands how mobile platforms evolve. We brought that same approach to every app we've built since.
From idea to App Store
Getting an app from concept to live involves more than just writing code.
Define and design
We work out what the app needs to do, design the user experience and prototype it before writing code. You'll interact with your app on a real device before development starts.
Build & Test
Together, we define the core functionality, map user journeys, and agree on what belongs in the first release. This keeps the project focused and reduces complexity.
Submit and launch
We handle App Store and Google Play submissions, review processes, provisioning and all the platform-specific requirements that catch teams out. We've been through it hundreds of times.
Support & Iterate
Apps need ongoing attention. OS updates break things, users request features, analytics reveal behaviour you didn't expect. We provide ongoing support and iteration to keep your app relevant.
Common questions
It depends on what the app does. If you need deep hardware integration, complex animations or platform-specific features, native is the right choice. If you need to ship on both platforms efficiently and the app is primarily content and data-driven, cross-platform with React Native makes more sense. We'll recommend the right approach for your specific case.
A focused MVP typically takes 2-4 months. More complex apps with backend systems, integrations and multiple user roles take longer. We'd rather ship something real quickly and iterate than spend a year building in isolation.
Yes. We regularly build apps that connect to existing APIs, platforms and data sources. If you already have a web application or backend system, we can build a mobile app that integrates with it.
