About Cask Trade

Cask Trade sells whisky casks as investments. It's a growing business in a niche market where trust, transparency and a polished online presence are essential for converting high-value leads.

We inherited the site in 2023, upgraded it to Umbraco v13, built a HubSpot integration for lead capture and created an embedded investor portal that lets customers view their investments. As the business grows, we continue to add features and improve the platform.

What we built

The Cask Trade platform started as an inherited website that needed modernising. We upgraded to Umbraco v13, integrated HubSpot to capture and manage leads through the sales pipeline, and built a lightweight investor portal embedded within the site. The portal gives customers a clear view of their cask investments without the complexity of a separate login system.

As Cask Trade grows, we continue to add new features. The platform evolves with the business rather than needing to be rebuilt as requirements change.

The Outcome

Cask Trade now has a modern website that supports their sales process from first visit to ongoing investor relationship. Lead capture flows directly into HubSpot, investors can track their holdings through the portal, and the team can manage content independently. The platform grows as the business does, with new features added regularly without needing to start over.
